aperture- an opening or open space.

shutter- The part of a camera that opens to allow light in when a picture is taken.

exposure-The treating of sensitized material as film controlled amounts of radiant energy

 

depth of field- the range of distances of  the object in front of an image forming device measured along the axis of the device throughout which the image has acceptable sharpness.

 

F-stop- Camera lens aperture settings indicated by an f-number

 

focal length- the distance of a focus from the surface of a leans or curved mirror.
