A Time I Was Brave

A time I was brave was on Halloween 2013.. I was being really brave when we had to get out of our house the morning of the flooding. I did everything I could to stay calm. It was really scary... can't even explain!

Quick Write: Room

My room is a super hot pink. It always really clean because I can't stand it being dirty. I have a long mirror, and a vanity also a long dresser. I'm most proud of how everything matches. Pink and green :) my mom used to work at Lack's furniture before they closed down, So I always got new furniture.

I see . . . a beautiful cheetah. 

The cheetah is standing tall. 

I see the cheetah maybe searching for pray. 

I smell . . . the smell of grass.

I smell the smell of heat. 

I smell scared animals ready to run from their hunters.

I hear . . . silence.

I hear the wind running through the grass and trees.

I hear animals roaring. 

I taste . . . the heat outside.

I taste the sweat. 

I taste the fear if being close to these wild animals.

I feel . . .scared because of how close the animals are. 

I feel worried I'll get attacked.

I also feel at peace because these wild animals are so beautiful. 

I'd probably create a poster with the photographers name, and a couple of his/her BEST photos to show what they are about.

1. What challenges did you encounter while trying to get the photos following the rules I set out for you?
Some classes were testing and the teachers didn't allow us in.

2. What technical aspects of photography or the assignment in general (focus, framing, holding the camera, etc.) did you find yourself thinking about the most? Provide a specific example of what you did to do this correctly.
Focusing, bluring out the background.

3. If you could do the assignment again, what would you do differently now that you know some basic rules of photography?
Go into way more classes then we did this time.

4. What things would you do the same?
Get kids actually working.

5. When you go out with your next set of prompts, which rule do you think will be the easiest to achieve?
Interesting angles is my favorite.

6. Which rule do you think will be the hardest to capture?
Rule of the thirds.

7. What rule are you still not totally clear on and what can you do to figure out what that rule is?
Simplicity and balance. I can do more research on them. Or ask.

Followed the rules pretty well, many classes were testing so it was hard.

Students in class learning.
3. Is it clear to people looking at your photos what the subject is?
Yes.
4. If you didn't follow the rule well, what could you have done differently?
I would have took more time, But being on a 15 time limit was difficult. Also more variety of classes.

My favorite photo of these few is the two fighting jaguars. I like this one the most because It's showing they really are in their natural home.

^^Best Emotion! These two students look like they enjoy their teacher. They can be goofy with him so you can tell they like him.

They are building helping the community around them..

Rule of thirds.
